Crazy Rich Borneo is the event you are waiting for if you are looking for a perfect weekend with family and friends!
Organized by the Small Town Art Market (STAM) and supported by Tokovintaj and The Hills Kuching, it will be happening 6-7 July 2019 from 11am to 8pm at The Hills Kuching right in the middle of town.
There will be amazing performances and fun activities to get engaged with!
Over 30 local homegrown brands will be showcasing their work.
To name a few we have Flint and Steel Borneo, Nia Latif, Elly Loe Collection, Soul Crafts Co., Mastuli Khalid, Aara Sarawak, Bingka, Dressinlurve, Deserve, Alit, Marik by Entayang, Sluvi, Soulistic Garden, Helpinghands Penan, ARO Sarawak, Isti-mewa, Breadsman, Babylicious Collection, and KKOT Earrings.
We are also excited to introduce some new vendors joining the STAM family, such as the home-based baker Andreas Kuche, handmade earrings from Peachy Pici, trendy and affordable quality jewellery from Bella Donna, bath & body, candles, hair accessories from Ezra’s Handmade, fashion accessories from The Faith Label, tea products from Natural Remedy, organic powdered facial masks from Peony and Roots, Ping’s Crochet, Gift and Take, D’Coeur with their series or hair treatment products, Legend Age Lipstick and more!
You will also find vendors from vintage store Tokovintaj and The Hills’ very own homegrown brands.
Tokovintaj will be having a line up of vintage talks by Mohd Nasir of Skatecaeature Custom Bikes, Tn Hj. Bolhassan, the curator for Lebuk Dana, P. Ramlee historian, and Ziachary of Catsound, curator of local music scenes.
You will find a variety of dance performances by Track & Dance, Beats Dance and Vocal Studio and Tribal Troopers; live music by Chopstix and Mstudios with April & Matt; live Sape performance by William Dharmawan, singing performance by Tempo, live music by Automatic The Remote and Space Bird brought to you by Tokovintaj, and many more!
Catch adorable animals from Arhas Village Farm you might fall in love with! Also, Sarawak Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SSPCA) will have an adoption drive and also free activities for kids.
Last but not least, we have workshops such as Make & Take DIY workshop by Deserve and Make Your Own Embroidery Brooch by Alit, the “Sign Language Workshop for Children” from Sarawak Society for the Deaf (SSD) and more kid-friendly workshops. There will also be photo booths set up by The Heritage Frame & Film.
