A hybrid of Fashion and Technology, this October at Colours of Unity 2019

KUCHING: Lavasthraa Beautiq joins the line-up at What About Kuching (WAK) 2019 with their annual fashion show – Colours of Unity 2019: Bollywood Fusion Fashion Fiesta.

Debuting a Kuching-first, they will be marrying Augmented Reality (AR) and the catwalk, presenting this synergetic mix of fashion and technology on October 10 at Dewan Sri Bungai Rampai starting 7pm.

This fashion show with a difference is in collaboration with local tech-start up ARx Media Sdn Bhd. Welfare, Community Wellbeing, Women, Family and Childhood Development Minister Dato Sri Hajah Fatimah Abdullah is expected to officiate.

The fashion show will be accompanied by a scrumptious and delicious Indian dinner.

There will be three slots of the Fashion Show (Bollywood, Fusion, and High Fashion respectively) as well as song and dance performances, followed by the opening of the dance floor to allow audiences to bring out their inner Bhangra.

Lavasthraa Beautiq, located at MJC Batu Kawah, is the only Bollywood/Indian boutique in Kuching. They have been creating and updating their collection of fashionable Bollywood and Fusion clothing and has also pioneered the industry by creating Ready-Made Sarees, which are basically sarees that can be worn in under 30 seconds. With in-house tailors, they boast many other collections as well.

Ticket prices are at RM85 per pax, or RM800 per table.
